At Athena Studios, we have a deep love for Stop Motion as a storytelling medium. In the hands of our artists, characters come alive to interact with their environments in exciting and unexpected ways. We use professional puppet fabrication methods and advanced technology (including the latest rapid prototyping and face replacement techniques) to create our cast of believable, endearing characters who can touch us with their emotional range.
We work with some of the best professionals in the business - fabricators, animators, set designers, and stagecraft professionals with decades of experience from Industrial Light + Magic, Laika, MacKinnon-Saunders, and Colossal. All of our work is done in-house, with focused attention to every level of detail. Our artists are consummate filmmakers as well as wonderful storytellers, and their passion is evident in every frame we shoot.
